00:00:41: First up, Ivonic is recognized as a founding member of Partners for Environmental Progress at the twenty-fifth anniversary and annual membership meeting of Partners for Environmental Progress or PEP.
00:00:52: Ivonic's Mobile Alabama site was honored as a founding member of the organization.
00:00:56: emphasizing its commitment to sustainable practices in South Alabama.
00:01:01: This recognition highlights Ivonic's dedication to balancing economic growth with the conservation of natural resources, aligning with PEP's mission to enhance the quality of life along the Gulf Coast.
00:01:11: Since PEP's inception in two thousand, Ivonic has played a crucial role in fostering a balance between economic development and environmental stewardship.
00:01:19: The company has been acknowledged multiple times for its environmental initiatives, including innovative waste minimization projects and habitat enhancements that support local flora and fauna.

00:01:49: Veterans are restoring history at a cemetery in Indiana.
00:01:52: Recently, the Tippy Canoe Labs chapter of the Veterans Employee Resource Group, EVET, organized a cleanup at Bayer Cemetery, which is located about a half a mile from the Ivonic site in Lafayette, Indiana.
00:02:04: The cemetery, which was established in the early eighteen-hundredths, had become overgrown with weeds and fallen trees, and through the dedicated efforts of numerous employees and volunteers, the team was able to successfully restore the historic site.
00:02:16: During the cleanup, the team began the day with a safety briefing before organizing in the groups to tackle various tasks, including clearing weeds and cleaning gravestones.
00:02:24: Their focus included several memorials which honored veterans who served in the American Civil War.
00:02:29: The EVET group took care to ensure that the cemetery was both respected and preserved for future generations.
00:02:35: This effort not only highlights Ivonex and EVET's commitment to honoring veterans, but also helps foster greater sense of community and teamwork among employees.
00:02:44: As Trey Whistler, who helped organize the cleanup, explains.
00:02:47: So looking at some of the people that are buried at the cemetery date back to the early eighteen hundreds.
00:02:53: So it's kind of been a cemetery that people forgot about.
00:02:56: We have four veterans that are buried there and.
00:02:58: and it needed some type of appreciation.
00:03:01: It was very exciting and good volunteer opportunity for everyone.
00:03:06: It's great that people that aren't even involved with the veterans group volunteered to help participate in this and it was a good chance for us to all kind of get together and to kind of show our gratitude for what they've done by maintaining that and ensuring that it stays maintained.
00:03:21: Lastly, Ivana colleagues volunteered their time to help combat food insecurity.
00:03:26: Volunteers from Avonix North America headquarters in Piscataway, New Jersey recently participated in a community service initiative with America's Grower Row, a non-profit organization dedicated to harvesting and donating fresh produce to those in need while also promoting healthy eating and agricultural education.
00:03:43: One hundred percent of the collected food was donated to local food banks, food pantries, and hunger relief organizations.
00:03:48: During the day that Ivonic volunteers were on site, an impressive total of eighty-three bins was collected.
00:03:53: Approximately sixty-three thousand pounds of corn, which is enough to provide meals for around two hundred and fifty thousand people in need.
00:04:01: This initiative reflects Ivonic's commitment to community engagement and supporting local efforts to combat hunger, as emphasized by Birgit Ebert, who helped organize the volunteering event.
00:04:11: Volunteering with America's Grow a Role was such a rewarding experience for me and the team in Piscataway.
00:04:17: It was amazing to roll up our sleeves and help out knowing that we were making a difference by providing fresh produce for those in need.
00:04:24: Harvesting all that corn and seeing how it can feed so many people really shows the impact we can have.
00:04:30: It was a great opportunity for Ivonek to actively support our community and understand the vital role we all play in addressing food insecurity.
