00:00:42: First up, manufacturer Alabama held the inaugural Next Gen Manufacturing Summit bringing together emerging leaders from across the state to focus on leadership development at networking manufacturing.

00:00:53: The summit emphasized essential topics like communication advocacy operational leadership an executive presence all tailored to prepare for next generation of manufacturing leadership.

00:01:03: Avonix owned Connie Busness Director of Environment Health & Safety served as keynote speaker drawing on her twenty-plus years of leadership experience in manufacturing.

00:01:11: Her speech highlighted the importance of trust, communication and taking proactive steps as a leader.

00:01:17: throughout the event participants engaged in meaningful conversation about leadership challenges and opportunities with many eager to continue their learning journey beyond summit.

00:01:25: The Next Gen Manufacturing Summit is part an effort addressing leadership challenges faced by young professionals in the manufacturing industry.

00:01:32: Here's Connie To explain more.

00:01:34: Leadership was something like in manufacturing we can work together.

00:01:38: It's not a competitive environment.

00:01:39: When leaders are only developed internally, they don't always get the full global perspective.

00:01:44: A lot of our manufacturing sites you may only have one to three young talents.

00:01:48: So there is no big pool if theres like twenty people that are learning from each other where this brought them together and so we can use each other To learn And grow our talent Together.

00:01:58: I appreciate every body That has coached me and developped Me.

00:02:02: i hope continue doing The same.

00:02:05: Next, Yvonnex Engineering Talent Acquisition and Development or ETAD program recently celebrated its fourth graduating class.

00:02:13: Since it's inception in twenty-twenty one, ETAD has been instrumental in shaping the early careers of engineers providing them with hands on experiences an opportunities to contribute a various engineering projects.

00:02:23: The Program emphasizes development future engineering talent through structured three year journey that combines broad training with focus development.

00:02:31: During the program participants immerse themselves into Vonix culture learn from experienced engineers, and tackle real-world challenges.

00:02:38: With targeted technical training and networking opportunities the program nurtures well rounded engineers and prepares them for roles of increasing responsibility.

00:02:46: Ryan Morrison head of engineering talent acquisition and development shares his thoughts on the programs success.

00:02:52: this year The ETAD Program marks five years since its creation and celebrates it's fourth graduating class.

00:02:59: Our graduates have made remarkable contributions in areas such as process improvement, process safety and project engineering during their time.

00:03:08: Each one embodies the innovation dedication and expertise that will drive future of our industry.

00:03:15: Lastly celebrating pride on Juneteenth with fitness.

00:03:19: this June Yvonnex build an equals employee resource groups for black professionals are once again inviting employees to join the June Fitness Challenge, a month-long fitness initiative designed to bring people together through movement connection and shared purpose.

00:03:35: The challenge encourages employees to complete daily thirty minute fitness activity whether it's walking running yoga or any other form of exercise while fostering a sense community collaboration across the organization.

00:03:48: The June Fitness Challenge is part of Avonix's broader celebrations of Pride Month and Juneteenth, which will include engaging events like an Equals Trivia & Movie Club.

00:03:57: And a Build Town Hall event!

00:03:59: Each engaging activity is designed to celebrate diversity inclusion and community all month long.

00:04:04: Here is Zach Mosley Chair of Equals and one of the organizers for this year's June Fitness challenge.

00:04:09: The June fitness challenge isn't just about staying active Yes it's a challenge.

00:04:13: yes its competition but also celebrating each other and our ERGs.

00:04:18: It's about what the ERGs do, which is bringing us together.

00:04:21: this challenge is about channeling that energy into activity in supporting it and understanding each other.

00:04:26: so we come as a team to celebrate our differences So everyone feels empowered to contribute their strengths To That Team.
