00:00:36: First up, Ivonic strengthens methionine production in Alabama.

00:00:40: Ivonic has completed the backward integration of its Methionine Production Hub in Mobile, Alabama marking a key milestone for it's global methionene business.

00:00:48: The project includes on-site production of methylmer captain A critical methionin intermediate enhancing supply reliability and sustainability while reducing the carbon footprint of methionines produced onsite.

00:01:00: The investment reinforces the strategic importance of Mobile, Yvonnec's largest manufacturing site in America which celebrated fifty years operation this year.

00:01:08: It also strengthens the company's global production network ensuring reliable support for customers across the Americas and beyond.

00:01:15: This product will help Yvonec's methionine business cut costs and grow within market as Lauren Keltson, the Yvonic executive board member responsible for the Americas region explains.

00:01:25: We had the Malbec project going over the last couple of years, we delivered them out back backwards integration in mobile to continue to go down The path of excellence and also our big volume more commodity products To make sure if were gonna play on that market That was super fit

00:01:40: right?

00:01:41: So this is a backwards integration to Make sure we can take Out logistic costs And also control more value within own chain.

00:01:47: so congratulations to the team for malbec and having A really robust network For our methionine business.

00:01:55: Next, developing future leaders.

00:01:57: This year, Avonic is introducing the Avonic Rotation Program or ERP a newly launched initiative designed to develop next generation of engineering talent.

00:02:06: this global program as two-year rotational program that provides participants with diverse assignments across operations technology and corporate functions by gaining hands on experience expanding their technical expertise in building leadership skills ERP participants will be equipped drive innovation excellence within Avonic.

00:02:25: The inaugural cohort of the ERP includes seven recent graduates.

00:02:28: Over course they will rotate through assignments at various sites, gaining exposure to critical areas such as plant operations process engineering and project management.

00:02:37: The program also emphasizes collaborations across sites teams and functions helping participants develop strong networks.

00:02:44: a deeper understanding of Avonix business culture.

00:02:47: One participant Gracie Jones began her first rotation at Tippy Canoe labs in Indiana.

00:02:53: I'm excited to be a part of the ERP program and the planning engineering team here at Tippecano, Indiana.

00:03:17: experience so far is knowing that there's always someone I can reach out to when i come across something new or find myself wondering what a niche acronym is.

00:03:27: Having that support system has made a big difference, and really looking forward working with my colleagues learning from their experiences.

00:03:38: Lastly, volunteers from the Mableton Illinois site hosted forty third and fourth grade students from the Multicultural Dual Language Academy in Peoria, IL for a day of hands-on experiments that brought STEM concepts to life.

00:03:51: Sponsored by The Grow Women's Network Chemistry Day focused on engaging students at activities that explore chemical reaction states matter and molecular bonds.

00:03:59: Students participated exciting experiments including blue bottle demonstration volcano eruptions, and creating buoyancy balls sparking curiosity and excitement about science.

00:04:10: The event also highlighted the unique diversity of this student group many who were bilingual or learning a second language.

00:04:16: Evonic volunteers noticed how students collaborated across languages to solve challenges during experiments.

00:04:21: Theo Figueroa continuous improvement manager at the Mapleton site shared her thoughts.

00:04:26: So it was amazing to see a student drive during these hands-on challenges.

00:04:31: Most of the kids were Spanish speakers, and then on the other hand you have American kids that they take classes in English or Spanish so both are learning different languages.

00:04:41: It's kind cool not only having the kid excited and surprised and amazed with things we do but also great seeing how they helped translate eachother You know?

00:04:52: And...it was a great experience!
