00:00:12: The date is August twenty seventh twenty twenty six And on today's episode the evonic site in Louisiana fosters a proactive safety culture through its summer safety days and Employee branding hosts the first ever product showcase In the Americas Region.

00:00:39: First up, Avonix Reserve Louisiana site is setting high standard for workplace safety with its annual Summer Safety Days program running from Memorial Day to Labor day.

00:00:48: the initiative brings together employees and contractors to engage an interactive safety exercises fostering proactive safety culture while reinforcing importance of effective communication and hazard awareness.

00:01:00: Brittany Bro, the Site Manager at Reserve explains a program's purpose.

00:01:04: Statistically

00:01:04: if you look at statistics lots of injuries happen between that one and three o'clock And it is... You've plowed all day..You have gone to lunch It almost time get off AND it extremely hot.

00:01:17: So its just that timeframe To say ok lets stop Let's hydrate, let's learn about a topic.

00:01:25: and you know takes hundred right decisions in one wrong decision for something bad to happen out here.

00:01:30: The program features weekly thirty minute sessions during the hottest part of day.

00:01:34: these hands-on activities emphasize key safety principles like communication injury prevention and hazard recognition, while also addressing personal safety at work.

00:01:42: And it home through topics like hurricane preparedness an boating sa.

00:01:48: we don't just need peop because if you fall off of a ladder putting up Christmas lights at your house, then you're on short term and now it's impacting our productivity here right?

00:02:04: And so we talk about Fourth Of July safety boating safety.

00:02:08: We outside

00:02:09: things.".

00:02:09: The reserve site safety record is impressive with thirty-five years without a lost time incident...and eight year without a recordable incident!

00:02:17: By combining education engagement fun the program ensures that safety remains top priority for everyone.

00:02:24: However, the program's true success lies in its ability to foster a mature safety culture.

00:02:29: So Reserve Safety Record has always been good.

00:02:33: since I've have been here You know sometimes those indicators are they're important right but there not indicative of Culture.

00:02:41: so safety culture is something very different and i think that it's Something That A lot Of People Fail To Realize And so i Think That It Does Impact The Safety Culture Pretty Significantly.

00:02:55: Lastly, Avonix Allentown Collaboration Hub in Pennsylvania recently hosted the first employer branding product show In The Americas designed to connect employees with a company's contributions To safer more efficient and more comfortable driving experiences.

00:03:08: The event fostered engagement collaboration And pride into work being done across multiple business lines Here is Anne McCarthy global head of Employer Branding

00:03:23: And for our employees to be able to connect more with the work that they do.

00:03:30: All of this coming together creates a little bit of magic, I think and

00:03:34: leaves

00:03:35: people feeling okay.

00:03:37: uh i feel connected to the company and This is what we do?

00:03:41: This Is What I Do and it's part Of something bigger.

00:03:45: The event featured expertise from four business lines high-performance polymers interface in polyurethane additives coding additives and oil additives, all of which showcase products that enhance automobile safety efficiency.

00:03:57: And comfort.

00:03:58: the event adopted a talk show style format with technical experts sharing stories about their work at its real world applications.

00:04:05: as The Technical Experts were talking about what they do you could see the moments where it became less I'm presenting and more i'm excited to tell You About What?

00:04:19: Hey, this is what I do and This Is What i'm a part of just seeing the excitement And The passion for the work shine through.

00:04:27: those are the moments that I think Are my favorite.

00:04:29: The event also strengthened Avonix partnership with Lehigh University Involving faculty in interns in the program.

00:04:35: the show Also aimed to empower employees To become career ambassadors by helping them feel confident.

00:04:40: talking about avonic as A whole not Just the products they Work on here's holly bozier U.S.

00:04:49: I did get emotional towards the end.

00:04:51: So we had multiple people come up to me afterwards To say, I didn't even know he did that or i think it's great but now I Can leave here?

00:04:59: And really think about our car not just as something That I drive away in But that I help impact and I think that was The biggest thing for me is Just seeing People have that spark.
