00:00:47: The facility will help Ivonic's pharma and biotech customers develop and commercialize advanced lipid based medicines including vaccines and potential therapies treat cancer and genetic disorders.

00:00:58: Lipids are essential for encapsulating delivering nucleic acid base drugs like the messenger RNA that played crucial role on vaccine response.

00:01:07: The Canadian government is supporting the expansion with up to sixty-eight million Canadian dollars, about forty eight million U.S.. The production capacity of new facility will be three times larger than Avonix current Vancouver site.

00:01:55: this expansion will empower a growing number of farmer and biotech customers around the world To bring next generation therapies to market.

00:02:05: In other words We provide the link between R&D and clinical trials, enabling our customers to bring life-changing therapies to patients faster and on a larger scale.

00:02:20: Lastly employees out of Vonix Birmingham lab site in Alabama came together for their first ever chicken wing cookoff designed to foster connections and camaraderie across departments.

00:02:30: The event drew one of the largest turnouts of any onsite lunch period activity And featured eight contestant teams each tasked with preparing one hundred wings.

00:02:39: Contestants brought their own grills, smokers and friars to create a variety of flavorful wings showcasing the creativity with homemade sauces and cooking techniques.

00:02:47: The voting process allowed attendees cast two tickets for favorite wings creating friendly competition among participants.

00:02:54: Ultimately the team of Doug Brown Steve Carter from quality assurance department emerged as winners.

00:02:59: To compliment the wing non-participating colleagues contributed wide selection side dishes ensuring there was plenty food everyone.

00:03:07: The cook-off was a big success as Courtney Adkins, plant engineering manager who organized the event explains.

00:03:23: It was just all around a good event as a whole, because people weren't so worried about the work that they were relaxed and enjoying themselves trying to different foods.
