00:00:40: First up, Yvonics Mobile site in Alabama recently hosted the Responsible Care Roadshow an event designed to highlight the principles of safety stewardship and community engagement that define Yvonic's commitment to responsible care.
00:00:53: Responsible care is a global voluntary initiative by the chemical industry to improve environmental health safety security performance.
00:01:01: organized in partnership with The American Chemistry Council The roadshow brought together employees, site leadership and local stakeholders to explore the role responsible care plays in driving safety and sustainable operations.
00:01:13: The event began with an employee town hall where participants heard from industry leaders and regional leadership about the importance of maintaining a strong safety culture, industry trends and lessons learned across the chemical sector.
00:01:25: Guests also had the opportunity to learn about Mobile's environmental stewardship efforts commitment to continuous improvement and approach the safe and responsible operations.

00:01:39: Responsible care is a commitment to doing the right thing.
00:01:42: every employee across every role contributes towards success by ensuring safe operation protecting environment building trust within our community.
00:01:52: this recent road show was an opportunity reflect on how those individual actions connect with larger shared purpose of leading beyond chemistry in order to improve lives today and tomorrow.
00:02:28: Birmingham Labs was selected as the winner in the medium manufacturer category, which recognizes companies with a hundred to three-hundred ninety nine employees.
00:02:36: The award reflects decades of work by the Birmingham team to develop and manufacture specialized materials used in pharmaceutical therapies and medical devices.
00:02:45: The site's reputation for solving complex challenges and supporting customers has helped position Avonok as global leader on healthcare innovation.
00:02:52: The sites stood out among five finalists for its commitment customer focus operational excellence Continuous Improvement and Employee Development, as Kyle Spontak the Birmingham Lab site manager explains.
00:03:04: This award is a testament to the exceptional people who make our work possible are scientists and engineers operators quality teams facility staff And all of our support personnel.
00:03:15: each of them plays vital role in advancing health care solutions that improve lives around The world every day.
00:03:20: Our employees bring their expertise dedication shared sense of purpose everything we do.
00:03:25: Manufacturing is at its core, a people-driven endeavor.

00:03:33: For five years, Ivonic has participated with The Future Of STEM Scholars Initiative or FOSSI helping to fund scholarships that support students in historically black colleges and universities – HBCU's.
00:03:46: Founded In Twenty-Twenty by American Chemistry Council and others, Fossi has become one nation leading industry supported STEM scholarship programs providing forty thousand dollars to high school seniors pursuing STEM degrees at HBCU's.
00:03:58: The initiative also offers membership, internship and career development with companies like Avonok.
00:04:04: Recently Jamechael Bonner an indirect sourcing manager at Avonoks Mobile Alabama site participated in the Gulf Coast Challenge College & Career Fair where he connected with one of the Fosse students sponsored by Avonak Isaiah Brown of Alabama A&M University.
00:04:18: Jameichael who has mentored Fosse Students explains the importance of mentorship and personal connection in shaping.
00:04:48: Applications for the next class of FOSSE Scholars are now open through January eighth, twenty-twenty seven.
